Erasmus Student Network (ESN) is a non-profit international student
organisation. Our mission is to represent international students, thus
provide opportunities for cultural understanding and self-development
under the principle of Students Helping Student.
ESN BelUPgrade ESN activity in Belgrade dates back to 2006. However, the pioneering section was short-lived due to negligence and disorganization. In early 2013 the section was re-established and running under a new, empowering name – ESN BelUPgrade – adequately symbolizing growth and development. Despite initially lacking support from government and academic institutions, ESN BelUPgrade’s founding members managed to build a strong foundation, fluid structure and commence their duty of helping foreign students’ integration in the Serbian capital. In recognition of its efforts, ESN BelUPgrade was named Section in the Spotlight in March 2014, and received the STARter Award in April 2014 at the Annual General Meeting in Milan, Italy. Today, ESN BelUPgrade is supported by the University of Belgrade, University of Arts and University Singidunum.
